Call The Police! LCD Soundsystem have stolen the top spot! Just as they have announced details of 'American Dream', their new album and a long list of dates including St.Paul's Roy Wilkins on Nov 9th. Tickets are going on sale this Friday and we're giving you chances to win them on air all week.

Portugal. The Man and Benjamin Booker are both inducted for the first time and Spoon for the 4th. This puts Spoon at #25 on the All-Time Hall of Fame Chart. Arcade Fire are #3 on that list with 8 entries. Looks like they are on their way to pressure The Black Keys for the top spot with this new album. First week on the chart at #3 as they announced their tour coming to the Xcel on Sunday Oct 29th. Touring in Europe right now, they are apparently kicking off their live shows with this new song.

Bon Iver bounce back up to #4 this week on the back of their massive Eaux Claires Festival. Check out Andrea Swensson's review and some excellent pictures of the rain interrupted shenanigans.

Dan Auerbach is back after a two week hiatus, and like the folks in Bon Iver, is a long-time fan of John Prine, one of the many guest artists he had help him on the new solo release.

Alt-J are back with the third song to chart from this new 'Relaxer' release. They recently talked to MTV about climate change, spurred in part by a report from Leeds University, where they and I went to school!

Muse are also back with the single released ahead of their massive summer tour which includes Lollapalooza in Chicago and the huge Reading and Leeds Festival in the UK, but no TC's date yet. You can, however, see a live stream of their recent Austin show on their website.

AND just in time for Pride Week ... Beth Ditto, once of the swaggering Gossip, slips back into the basement space with "Fire" from her newly released 'Fake Sugar'. She has made a big splash over in the UK in both her old band and the London fashion industry. As The Telegraph of London just wrote... "there is no other pop star so proud and political about being a woman, being gay, and being fat and beautiful." She expanded on these themes with NPR.
