It's been almost a year and a half since The Current's signal went live in Duluth, and with that expansion came one of our favorite summer traditions: The Current Goes to Duluth! This July 28 and 29 The Current hosts and staff are setting up camp in your great city for two days of fun – we have some great events lined up!

Friday, July 28

Oake and Riley In The Afternoon

Oake and Riley in the Morning continue their afternoon summer shenanigans with a live broadcast from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Duluth Coffee Company's new Roasteria! They'll be joined by musical guests, Monica LaPlante and Glitteratti; Hoops Brewing's Dave Hoops and Melissa Rainville; The Current's Duluth Local Show host Mike Novitzki; Glensheen Mansion Director Dan Hartman, and Duluth Coffee Co. owner Eric Faust! Stop on by for live radio, music, gourmet coffee from around the world, eats from The Rambler and of course...beer!

The Current Showcase at The Red Herring Lounge

Following the live broadcast, we're hosting a free show at The Red Herring Lounge featuring DJ Keezy, The Latelys, BB Gun, Monica LaPlante and Red Mountain! Doors at 7pm, music at 8pm.

Saturday, July 29

All Pints North Summer Brewfest at Bayfront Park 3-7pm

The Current is going all out at the sixth annual All Pints North on Saturday, June 29 Plus the 4onthefloor, Viva Knievel (an all-Bauhaus Brew Labs band), so you're guaranteed a feel-good time. Plus, Jade, Jill Riley and Brian Oake will emcee between bands.

The event gives 3,500 craft beer fans an opportunity to enjoy unlimited and unique samples from many Minnesota craft breweries as well as hand-picked national craft beer brands. All Pints North also offers beer connoisseurs one of the most scenic beer festival backdrops in the country, with the event staged on the banks of Lake Superior. Attendees can also participate in interactive beer education presentations.

Tickets are $45 in advance when purchased online. Tickets are also available at the door for $55. Sober driver tickets are $10.

Bauhaus Brew Labs After-Party at The Red Herring Lounge

We'll wrap up the weekend with a showcase at the Red Herring Lounge featuring Vansire, Boreal Forest, Early Eyes and The 4onTheFloor. There is a $10 cover charge for admission. The first 100 attendees receive a free Bauhaus pint..
