Yam Haus
A lot of musical acts try to build on the success of their early music. But for indie-rock band Yam Haus, each time they release new music is a new step in their musical evolution — particularly this time around with their most recent single, “Color You In.” The track marks an introduction to a new era for the Minneapolis group. “Color You In” is a catchy blend of indie-rock that still serves up the unforgettable hooks Yam Haus became known for, while also bringing a new level of songwriting maturity and musical complexity to their profile. Yam Haus is quickly shedding its pop image and establishing itself as a genuine guitar-driven act. The band is growing up alongside the Gen Z audience that dove into their old music, while also allowing their personality, emotions, authenticity and humor to shine a bit more and earn an expanded audience with the new output. Yam Haus feels like they are just getting started and excited for what's to come.
Misty Boyce
Newly Minneapolis-based artist and keyboardist, Misty Boyce, has spent years playing alongside award-winning artists including Sara Bareilles, BØRNS, Lord Huron, Sting, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, and more, all while continuing to release records of her own to critical acclaim. Her latest release, genesis, features guests such as Taylor Goldsmith from the band Dawes, Grammy-winning string arranger Rob Moose (Boy Genius, Everything Everywhere All At Once), and Philip Krohnengold (Milk Carton Kids, Madison Cunningham).
