9:30 Coffee Break: Shadows

April 14, 2014

The lunar eclipse is taking place early tomorrow morning, it will be visible in the Twin Cities (Central Standard Time) starting at 12:58am. During a lunar eclipse, the full moon gradually enters Earth's shadow. The process is slow and the total lunar eclipse (when the Moon is completely immersed in the Earth's shadow) should begin around 2:06am and end around 3:24am.

We may not be able to stay awake for the eclipse, so we'll create a Coffee Break eclipse and have a shadow pass over the entire playlist. What songs with the word "shadow" in the title, or featured prominently in the lyrics, should we play for the 9:30 Coffee Break?

You can have a Coffee Break of your very own at your work. Jill and Steve will swing by your job with live music from The Cactus Blossoms and treats from The Freehouse. To enter just send an email to: CoffeeBreak@TheCurrent.org
