Ahead of her show Sunday night at First Avenue in Minneapolis, Jenny Lewis stopped by The Current's studio for a live interview with Mac Wilson.

Lewis's new album, The Voyager, is finishing out its spell as The Current's Album of the Week. Mac reviewed the album, and as a result, has a lot of thoughtful questions for Lewis.

Among the subjects Lewis speaks about with Mac are: the album title and its relationship to the Voyager space program; how Lewis ended up working with Ryan Adams on the new album; how she met Beck in a metropolis of five million people; and how a bad vacation can turn into a good song.

Listen to the complete interview, along with tracks spun by Mac, by playing the audio above.

Tracks spun during the interview:

"The Voyager"
"The Charging Sky"
"Just One of the Guys"
The first and third tracks are off Lewis's new album, The Voyager, out now on Warner Bros. Records. "The Charging Sky" is off Lewis's 2006 collaboration with the Watson Twins, Rabbit Fur Coat, on Team Love Records.
