Ron Gallo has announced a new EP, Really Nice Guys, set for release on Jan. 19, 2018.

In the run-up to that date, Gallo has released the title track as a lead single. The video for the song was directed by Joshua Shoemaker, a filmmaker who has also created videos for Hurray for the Riff Raff, Benjamin Booker, Jessica Lea Mayfield, J. Roddy Walston & the Business, Alabama Shakes and several others.

In the video, we see Gallo as he is skateboarding around Nashville, displaying or attempting — with varying degrees of success — a range of skills. At one point in the video, Gallo takes what looks like a pretty hard fall … and because it seems fair to say Gallo is a much better guitarist than a skateboarder, let's hope he doesn't injure a wrist or something.

Really Nice Guys follows fairly quickly on Gallo's 2017 album, Heavy Meta, which featured the track, "Young Lady, You're Scaring Me." Both releases are on the New West Records label.
