'Captain' Daryl Dragon of Captain & Tennille fame has passed away at the age of 76. Though the 1970s husband and wife musical duo weren't still a couple at the time of his death, Toni Tennille was by his side as he passed.

Toni issued a statement saying, "He was a brilliant musician with many friends who loved him greatly. I was at my most creative in my life, when I was with him," Rolling Stone reports.

This morning we played "Muskrat Love" for Vinyl Tap, but we'd like to get more into this topic today at 9:30.
