Being inducted to our Chart Hall of Fame for the 11th time this week puts Courtney Barnett at Number Two on the All Time Hall of Fame Chart right behind The Black Keys, who are our highest new entry at number three! The Keys play Target Center with Modest Mouse on Sept 28th while Courtney is back at our Rock The Garden gig, which is only ten days away!

Tame Impala also get inducted to the Hall of Fame this week for the 6th time. They were on a re-run of SNL at the weekend prompting some more new listeners no doubt.

Another big week for Lizzo as she holds on to the top spot, gives one of her songs to the Women's USA Soccer Team for the World Cup AND performs at her first big Award Show, MTV Music and TV at the weekend where she paid tribute to her fave movie... "Sister Act 2"!

Bon Iver is back at four and if you can't wait until the October 3 show at XCEL then maybe take a roadtrip to Milwaukee for Summerfest?

Posting a lip synching version of the title track from her upcoming album on Instagram this week, Lana Del Rey, who's new at eleven says, "This is so much my favorite track for so many reasons." WARNING...it does have a swear word in the title.

Phantogram are another of the 7 new entries this week, they start their tour in August hitting The Palace on August 25, with Bob Moses opening for them.

When our friends at NPR reviewed the new Justin Townes Earle record they called the title track "The Saint Of Lost Causes" his most cynical lyric ever and this first single, new at #17 taps a vein of desperation.

Bad planning in the Nelson household or a synergy tactic?! Both Willie and his son Lukas are on late night TV this week touting new albums and Lukas and his band, on the chart for the first time ever at #18 will play The Varsity Theater on Sept 25th.

Lukas will also be over in the UK next weekend for the huge Glastonbury festival as will local denizen J.S. Ondara who's in at twenty, playing the Acoustic Stage on Sunday at 1.30pm, the whole line-up is gigantic and amazing.

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win The Current's 80/35 Music Festival VIP ticket giveaway in Downtown Des Moines, Iowa on July 12 and 13, 2019.
