This week's schedule
Pride month is coming to an end after a lively weekend full of parades, food trucks, and gender equality advocacy. Still, Northern Irish singer/songwriter SOAK — who performed and had a chat with The Current host Jade about her sophomore album Grim Town at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival — will be continuing the party on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday. That same night, indie singer/songwriter and former Rilo Kiley lead singer Jenny Lewis — who saw big success with the release of her latest album On the Line — will appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Other new showings this week include Matt Maeson on Late Night (Monday) and Little big Town on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (Friday). On the days between these show dates, Incubus will be on The Late Show on Wednesday and Julia Michaels will star on The Tonight Show on Thursday.
Notable reruns this week include a performance by St. Paul and the Broken Bones and CeCe Winans, which re-airs this Saturday on Austin City Limits. Fans can watch Winans' live performances of "Hey Devil" and "Peace from God" and the Bones' "Flow with it" and "Mighty River" again this upcoming weekend. Saturday also brings an encore of a Saturday Night Live from Feb 16, on which Gary Clark Jr. made his debut on the show with performances of songs "Pearl Cadillac" and "This Land" which accompanied a classic Donald Trump impression by Alec Baldwin.
