This week's schedule
Many The Current favorites this week are on TV this week with American rock band Cage the Elephant performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Monday) and a live taping of their set for Austin City Limits (streaming online on Friday). Also on Friday will be a showing of Tegan and Sara on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where you can watch their interview and musical performance. Earlier in the week, California rock band Cherry Glazerr will be on The Late Late Show with James Corden (Wednesday); soulful rock and blues musician Gary Clark Jr. will on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Thursday); and Brittany Howard, who recently released her debut solo album Jaime — named after Howard's late sister — will be on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Other notable showings include English singer/songwriter Jade Bird on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday (who released the song "Feet Off The Ground" with Brent Cobb on Friday the 13th) and James Blake on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday. Saturday will bring a new live showing of Saturday Night Live with a performance by Billie Eilish accompanying host Woody Harrelson — known for his roles in Zombieland, The Hunger Games, and Venom.
