Are you registered to vote yet?

Election Day is your chance to make your voice heard, to make a difference in your community, to exercise your most fundamental right.

National Voter Registration Day is a week from today. Each state makes its own voting and election rules, so if you're in Minnesota, you can register to vote here, if you're elsewhere you can register here, and if you want to vote by mail in Minnesota, you can do that here. However you do it, do it, because it's your right!

We are going to be joined today by Tappan Vickery from HeadCount who is partnering with The Current to get as many listeners registered to vote as possible. It's got us in the mood for a mix of music that helps celebrate and remind us of our civic duty.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that champion civic duty, power to the people, democracy, etc.?

Respond with your song ideas in the comments below.
