Lizzo made a triumphant return to Saturday Night Live over the weekend. Her visit included promotion of her forthcoming album, Special, in the form of performances featuring the title track and new single “About Damn Time.”

During her heartfelt monologue, she addressed the “rumor” that she was carrying actor Chris Evans’ baby and pointed out her mother was in the crowd.

Highlights from her sketches included a song about a horny zookeeper, which emerged after a bad case of writer’s block. She also played the “algorithm” in a Food and YouTube digital short, pitched Costco jingles, and coaching the Black Eyed Peas on developing their biggest hits.
