Coffee Break: America Recycles Day
by Jill Riley and Nilufer Arsala
November 15, 2024
Each year on November 15, people around the country celebrate America Recycles Day. The holiday was created in 1997 by the National Recycling Coalition to highlight how recycling helps to reduce waste and helps preserve conservation efforts.
Participating in America Recycles Day is easy! You can sort your recycling, repurpose something instead of throwing it away, and use recycling bins for appropriate items instead of as trash cans. Today, let’s explore one way music can be recycled — cover songs!
So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what cover songs would you like to hear?
