This April 21 marks two years since Prince passed away. In 2016, that date was on a Thursday, and Jake Rudh was all set to host a program about one of his favorite British New Wave bands here on The Current. Instead, he created a last-minute Transmission tribute to Prince before he went and DJ'd one of the most special gigs of his career that night at First Ave. This Thursday, Jake plans to revisit that playlist full of Prince's artwork, inspirations, and music he wrote for others. "Two years on, it's still so hard for me to grasp that he's not around," Jake says, "but thankfully, his music still very much is."
