Thirty years ago, "The Wonder Years," "Roseanne," and "China Beach" were on TV; "Twins," "Rain Man" and "Coming to America" were on the big screen; George Michael, Rick Astley and Taylor Dane were on top of the charts; and Sonic Youth, Jane's Addiction and The Church were in Jake Rudh's cassette player. 1988 was a big year for college rock and alternative music; grunge was right around the corner, and a definite change was being felt in the music industry. We're going to relive all of it together this week on the program.
