This Friday night at the Turf Club in St Paul, a lineup of Twin Cities artists from many bands including Soul Asylum, Semisonic, and the Brian Setzer Orchestra come together for a night of XTC covers. It's the seventh annual Senses Working Overtime benefit to help Pay It Forward Cancer Fund at Ridgeview Medical Center. That's exactly why you'll hear an hour of XTC on this week's Transmission. It's time to celebrate one of the worlds most underrated and misunderstood bands to come out of the post-punk and new wave era, and Jake Rudh will do his best to kick it all off this Thursday night.
