The Time Machine stops in 1958 this time; lots of activity at Sun Studio in Memphis with music from Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis. Meanwhile downriver in New Orleans, Fats Domino was a hit machine. There were still big-band sounds on the radio with tracks from Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra, and there were huge instrumentals from Duane Eddy and Link Wray.
