The Time Machine surveys 1992 this time. R.E.M. continued their early ‘90s roll with the stellar Automatic for the People album. Thanks to Dr. Dre's The Chronic album, we first learned of Snoop Dogg. Tori Amos and the Twin Cities band Soul Asylum both had breakout years. Whitney Houston was everywhere with the film and soundtrack to The Bodyguard.
