The Time Machine tracks back to 1988 this time, a year of excellent debuts from the likes of Tracy Chapman, Pixies, and the Traveling Wilburys were launched. Public Enemy released one of the most important albums of the year. Cowboy Junkies recorded an album in a church, with only one microphone, to huge success. The late Leonard Cohen issued one of the best albums of his long storied career. Keith Richards dropped his very first solo album, and CDs outsold vinyl for the first time — times were changing! It's all 1988, our year on this episode of Time Machine Tuesday.
