I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to kicking off this New Year as smooth as possible. That's why this week on the program, I host an hour of some of the smoothest music recorded in the classic alternative world. Some call it smooth music and others call it sophisti-pop. 'Café Bleu' is the official debut album released by the English band The Style Council. It was released on March 16, 1984. (The album was renamed 'My Ever Changing Moods' in the United States to capitalize on the success of the single of the same name.) Band members Mick Talbot and Paul Weller are pictured on the cover.
