The superest of supergroups The Traveling Wilburys were launched, Public Enemy released one of the most important albums of the year, Cowboy Junkies recorded an album in a church with only one microphone. The late Leonard Cohen issued one of his best albums of his long and storied career, and Keith Richards issued his first solo album, it's all 1988 our year on this Time Machine, a look back on a year in Music, Pop Culture and the world.
