This week we’re saying Happy 45th Birthday to California pop-punk legends The Dickies. Sometimes called “the clown princes of punk” – The Dickies are known for their catchy melodies, clever lyrics, and sizzlin’ guitar attacks! The Dickies’ signature sound – coined “bubble-gum punk” -- is showcased in their debut album The Incredible Shrinking Dickies – released 45 years ago in February 1979. We’ll be spinning tracks from the album, along with a great mix of classic new wave and post-punk songs.
