As the sun was setting at Rock the Garden 2013, Southern California alternative rock band Silversun Pickups performed "Dots and Dashes" from their album Neck of the Woods and won over both new and old fans with their explosive set. Filling in for new mother of twins Nikki Monninger, bassist Sarah Negahdari charmed fans while Brian Aubert tore up the stage with Joe Lesteand on keys and Christopher Guanlao on drums.
