This spring, The Current’s LineCheck series returns with monthly topics to create an exchange of ideas for keeping the scene healthy, safe, and inspired. Led by The Local Show host Diane, each virtual event brings together top artists, industry leaders, and audiences to reflect on where things are at, and where they’re going. In five events between March and June, LineCheck provides a forum for education and connection, and each event also features exclusive performances from top Minnesota musicians.

The first LineCheck event of 2022 happens this Thursday, March 10, with a conversation with local artists Xavier Goodman, Durry, and Mark Mallman, about using the TikTok platform to extend artistic reach.

TikTok has clearly emerged as an important platform for artists and fans alike to share music. As a result, a number of songs — old and new — have experienced surges in popularity as a result of appearing on TikTok. So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that blew up on TikTok?
