Cannabis culture is nothing new in the world of music, but what was once counterculture is now the mainstream. For years, musicians have been referencing marijuana use in their lyrics. Indulgers often cite the green stuff as a source of inspiration for their music, or simply a way to kick back and relax.
In recent years, many states across the country have legalized recreational use of marijuana. MPR News host Angela Davis recently reported that Minnesota lawmakers could soon take a vote on whether to legalize adult-use recreational marijuana in the state. You can check out that story here.
