Here are moments and snapshots from Record Store Day 2023 in Minneapolis and St. Paul at the Electric Fetus, Mill City Sound, Urban Lights, Barely Brothers, and Down in the Valley.
Special guests at the Electric Fetus included Soul Asylum’s Dave Pirner, Kiss the Tiger’s Meghan Kreidler, and Greg Norton of Hüsker Dü. Charlie Parr was among the day’s live performers at Barely Brothers. One of the hot releases for the day was Taylor Swift’s folklore: the long pond studio sessions.
