It always feels good to go out on top, and this week on The Current Chart Show, Janelle Monáe does exactly that — as they enter the Chart Show Hall of Fame at the No. 1 spot with their song “Float.” They aren’t the only artist reaching the Hall of Fame, with Netherlands-based Altin Gün reaching 10 weeks as well this week. Depeche Mode return to the chart after several weeks away, and five bands debut this week: Josh Ritter, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, M83, Foo Fighters, and local artist Ber with her song “Superspreader.”

Vote for your favorite tracks this week and listen to the Chart Show at its new time, Thursdays at noon. (Please note: our next episode of the Chart Show will air on Thursday, May 18; the show will not be heard during the 893 Essential Songs of the 90s countdown.)
