Hip-hop has officially been a part of music for 50 years. This week, leading up to the 50th anniversary of a party featuring DJ Kool Herc held in the Bronx on August 11, 1973, we’ll devote each Coffee Break to a different decade of hip-hop music. Now, we’re up to the present.

It’s a little too early to say for certain what the sound of the 2020s is. A lot of bright, young stars are already making things exciting, and some legends have put out great work in the past few years. These days, hip-hop isn’t afraid of incorporating different musical styles like dancehall, R&B, and Afrobeats music.

For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, which 2020s-era hip-hop songs do you want to hear?
