September 6 is recognized as National Read a Book Day. It’s a special day that calls book lovers to action, encouraging us all to get lost in the pages of a gripping narrative.

Much like writing, music is a medium for expression and giving perspective. It really shouldn’t be shocking that writers and musicians are cut from the same cloth.

In honor of the day, we’re going to celebrate those who not only give us good music, but are also accomplished authors.

For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, which songs from musicians who are also authors do you want to hear?

Respond with your song ideas in the comments below.
