Today marks the 30th anniversary of the release of Nirvana’s In Utero. The iconic album was recorded at Pachyderm Studio in Cannon Falls, Minnesota.

Founded in 1988, the studio sits on about three acres of woods, almost secluded from the outside world. Despite its rural location, the studio had no issue bringing in classic artists to record their work. To name a few: Soul Asylum, PJ Harvey, The Jayhawks, and They Might Be Giants.

Nowadays, Pachyderm studio is still a space for recording music. Recently working on releases from artists like Beach House and the Honeydogs, the studio is holding its ground as one of the most revered the Midwest.

Let’s honor Pachyderm Studio by focusing on all of the iconic music that came from it.

For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, which songs recorded at Pachyderm Studio do you want to hear?
