When you hear the words Consumer Product Safety Commission you might be thinking about lengthy PSAs, recalls, and the formal, and sometimes stuffy, language of regulations — and for the most part, you’d be right.

However, this week, the Consumer Product Safety Commission has decided to take a different approach to engage with young adults with an album of songs about safety ranging in genres from reggaeton to EDM.

We’re Safety Now Haven’t We goes over the topics of wearing helmets, fireworks safety, and not walking while looking at your phone. In spirit of this musical endeavor, let’s think about some classic tunes that emphasize safety. While we’re at it, think about the ones that call for a little — or a lot of — danger.

For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, which songs about safety and/or danger do you want to hear?
