Lyrics can greatly influence how we feel about a song and what it says. They add subtle emotional detail, connect with the listener on a personal level, and can speak poetically on the nuances of the human condition.

However… sometimes words escape us. We “yada yada” our way out of telling the whole story, or meaningless vocal sounds say everything there is to say.

This morning’s topic is dedicated to those moments in songs where the singer slides out of their lyrics and resorts to some sort of filler — blahs, oohs, ahhs, and so forth.

For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, which songs with nonsensical lyrics do you want to hear?
