Every year, The Current ramps up your Halloween week with a string of spooky-themed Coffee Breaks. This year, we’re kicking things off with those who are well-versed in the dark arts. We’re talking witches.

Witchcraft can be traced back to many different cultures, often involving the use of magic or supernatural powers to inflict harm or misfortune on others. Over the years, witches were able to gain popularity amongst recent generations — due to more positive portrayals in TV, movies, and other media — Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Wizards of Waverly Place, etc.

Let’s put together some songs that embrace wickedness, spells, cauldrons, and everything witchy.

For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, which songs that can be associated with witches do you want to hear?
