Starting Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14, The Current is making some adjustments to its weekend programming schedule. (All times Central Daylight Time.)

Time Machine, heard Saturdays at 7 a.m., will air its final episode on June 29, covering the music of 1977. Time Machine Weekend will be back for the November holiday weekend, and archived episodes of Time Machine will remain available for streaming on The Current’s website.

Sheroes Radio, currently heard Sundays at 6 a.m., will move to Saturdays at 7 a.m. Hosted by Carmel Holt, Sheroes Radio centers and amplifies the voices of women in music. Meanwhile, Sound Opinions and Jazz Happening Now will no longer air on Saturdays.

Other than the Sheroes Radio move, Sunday mornings on The Current will continue with Radio Heartland on The Current at 7 a.m., hosted by Mike Pengra, followed by United States of Americana from 8 to 10 a.m., hosted by Bill DeVille. Nilufer Arsala, a new host and producer at The Current, will host music on Saturdays and Sundays from 5 to 7 a.m.

Thank you for listening to The Current.
