Mid-July has us all searching for ways to cool down. Luckily, we are smack dab in the middle of National Ice Cream Month! Since 1984, when the observance was established not by the dairy industry but rather by a proclamation by U.S. President Ronald Reagan, July has been dedicated to the sweet treat, with the third Sunday of the month singled out as National Ice Cream Day. There really is only one way to celebrate, and that is by indulging in the famous dessert.

From pairing with pie to buying a cone and even making your own, ice cream is a staple deserving of a month-long celebration! Let’s get in on the fun with music!

So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs relating to ice cream would you like to hear?
