Coffee Break: Classic Cars
by Jill Riley and Nilufer Arsala
July 31, 2024
Every Tuesday from late May to late September, the town of Henderson, Minnesota, hosts the Henderson Classic Car Roll-In, a showcase of vintage automobiles.
Henderson, located about one hour and 15 minutes southwest of the Twin Cities, holds this free weekly event along its historic Main Street. Attendees can admire the craftsmanship and dedicated upkeep of classic cars that can run the gamut from hot rods, ragtops and pickups to European classics and luxury sedans. Rounding out the experience is a range of food vendors along with local live music. The most recent Henderson Classic Car Roll-In just happened last night, but there’s another one on the way next Tuesday.
Anyone familiar with the 1973 film American Graffiti knows that cruising around in a classic car calls for a cracking soundtrack. Let’s celebrate the Henderson Classic Car Roll-In with music.
