Amsterdam-based singer-songwriter Jana Mila visited The Current on Thursday, July 18, to play songs from her upcoming album, Chameleon (releasing Aug. 30, 2024, on New West Records). The session was recorded live before an audience assembled in the Forum at Minnesota Public Radio — The Current’s HQ — in St. Paul, Minnesota. “I feel very supported over here,” Jana Mila told the audience, “because I heard that the song [“Somebody New”] is actually on rotation on The Current right now. And that feels like a fairy tale to me, because now I get to play it over here for you guys, and not just far away over the sea, so I'm happy to be here.”
