Top 10 songs in no order

"Steep" - Holden Federico: Instant-classic techno track that has already blown minds as a closing track at many summer festivals. Listening to this makes anything you're doing feel important.

"Everything is Romantic" - Charli XCX: "Lemons on the trees and on the ground / Sandals on the stirrups of the scooters / Neon orange drinks on the beach / Four generations make up a family"

"Spanish Guitar" - Lancey Foux and Fimiguerrero: This track has no business working as well as it does. It's a corny idea on paper, but the duo make it effortlessly cool.

"Cry for Me" - Magdalena Bay: I would definitely wear this track out if I was still a DJ on Radio K.

"Holy, Holy" - Geordie Greep: Because at the end of the day I'm still a theater kid too afraid to listen to actual showtunes.

"Juna" - Clairo: Thank you, Clairykah Badu.

"Motion" - Joanne Robertson and Dean Blunt: Wonderful duo. Wonderful song. Wonderful album.

"mewtwo" - Ken Carson: "If money was Cocoa Puffs / Uh, I'd go cuckoo." Give the man the damn Pulitzer.

"JJETLAGG" - Yhapojj: This came out late last year, so cut me some slack. By far my most listened to track this year and I'm still not sick of it. "JETTLAGG" is anachronistic, silly, confident, trippy. It is greater than the sum of its disperate, maximalist parts

"Viking" - SahBabii: There's no chance our hometown team will make this their walkout music, but they should!
