The Chart Show: Maggie Rogers returns to No. 1
January 02, 2025
The first Chart Show of 2025 sees three re-entries to the chart this week and one debut to kick off the new year: U.K. sensation Declan McKenna enters the chart at No. 20 with "Champagne" to toast 2025. Maggie Rogers retakes No. 1 with “In The Living Room” just one week from reaching Chart Show Hall of Fame status, and Joy Oladokun’s “I’d Miss The Birds” breaks into the top five right after landing at No. 89 in The Current’s Top 89 of 2024 as voted by listeners.
We also see big gains for Brigitte Calls Me Baby (“Too Easy”) and The Heavy Heavy (“Feel”) with both jumping into the top 10. Meanwhile, Fontaines D.C. (“In The Modern World”) and Kim Deal (“Crystal Breath”) hold down their respective places in the table with plenty of newcomers close behind.
