There are lots of new albums that are set for release this year. On this United States of Americana I’ll feature a bunch of new tunes from 2025. I will play new songs from artists like Julien Baker and Torres, The Devil Makes Three, Ringo Starr and locals artists like Turn Turn Turn and Gary Louris!

We'll hear the wonderfully quirky voice of Iris DeMent, who turns 64 on January 5. We'll also take a look back at 2024 one more time to hear great songs from artists like Hayes & the Heathens, Jontavious Willis, and Kasey Chambers.

It’s the annual Best of the Year episode of United States of Americana! We’ll hear some of the best songs and most played song you heard on this show in 2024. You’ll hear artists like Kaitlin Butts, The Cactus Blossoms, Charlie Parr, Johnny Blue Skies, Sierra Ferrell, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings & Charley Crockett.

It’s the Annual Holiday Show on this weeks United States of Americana! you’ll hear seasonal favorites from your favorite Americana artists new and old. We’ll check a few that we just got in this season from artists like The Milk Carton Kids, locals The Belfast Cowboys, & Ana Egge. Plus, classics from Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, John Prine and Nick Lowe!

It was a Wilco Weekend; I played along and spun a couple of tunes on the show.  A Complete Unknown, the new Bob Dylan film opens Christmas day. I featured a few tunes from those early days in the the Big Apple, after he left Minnesota! Plus, we are inching closer to Christmas, I played a few holiday tunes on the airwaves and I featured some brand-new songs to play from Drew and Ellie Holcomb and Dwight Yoakam, as well!

After a week off, United States of Americana is back! We checked out a couple of tunes from Henry and Howard Coward, known collectively as The Coward Brothers (it's actually longtime friends Elvis Costello and T Bone Burnett).

Another United States of Americana is in the books. I just got a brand new song from Ringo Starr, perhaps you’ve heard of him! He has a new album set to drop early next year. It’s produced by T Bone Burnett, who also wrote most of the songs.

On this USofA I’ll feature a tune from Chuck Prophet from a new cumbia-inspired album called Wake the Dead.  

This time on United States of Americana I've got some good stuff coming up. We'll hear a cool new soul/blues tune from Jontavious Willis that'll get your toes tapping! Also on the agenda are songs from Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors featuring Vince Gill, plus Marcedes Carroll, Willie Nelson covers the Flaming Lips, Leon Bridges from his new album and a new song from Dwight Yoakam's first new record in 9 years. I will also dig out an old song from Gordon Lightfoot, as the 49 Anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald is on the 10th of November. 

We'll celebrate on air with 15 songs from artists who helped define the last 15 years, plus memorable in-studio performances from the past decade and a half!
