Australian band Middle Kids return to The Current studio to play their two latest singles — “Bootleg Firecracker” and “Highlands” — as well as a song from their 2021 album, ‘Today We’re The Greatest,’ and then they stick around to chat with Jill Riley.

You may already know Nanna from her work in Of Monsters and Men. Now touring in support of her solo album, ‘How To Start A Garden,’ Nanna and her band visited The Current studio for a session hosted by Mac Wilson.

Los Angeles-based folk-punk musician Sunny War is known for her virtuosic guitar playing accompanied by deeply honest lyrics reflecting 21st century concerns. She stopped by The Current studio to share some songs from her newest album, ‘Anarchist Gospel,’ and to talk about her start in music.
